After a long
wait, American-born Nigerian gospel music sensation, Omenesa Oruma, is set to
launch her debut album entitled: It’s not over, on July 21 at Agura Hotel,
Abuja. Read more
The 13-tracker album has tracks, such as You are
Holy, Jesus is Wonderful, I give you Glory and among others is expected to hit
the market on Friday, July 21 at the hotel.
Omenesa has participated in several auditions
such as American Idol (seven times), Sunday Best songs (five times) and was a
semi-finalist at the Gospel Dream in Nashville Tennessee, USA, where J Moss and
Mitchell Solarek were judges.
She was nicknamed “Lady O” by Destiny’s Child’s
Michelle Williams, who was a guest judge on the same show at that time.
Oruma will also go on a tour to USA in September
to cities such as Texas, Michigan and New York.
The songbird
said: “I don’t sing secular songs but I sing gospel music. I did collaborations
with Samsong, Solomon Lange, Vivien Stephen, Jay R, Elgibbor while my producers
are Sampro, Mac Roc, Physical, Xpee, Segun Samuel.
My fans love
my music and they should listen to my singles such as He will do it again, Its
Not Over and I give you glory, which featured Vivien Stephen.
