Aggrey-Fynn says that her life is a gift not just to herself alone but for her
fans that also listen to her during her shows. Read more
Ifeoma (aka Iphie), a graduate of Linguistics and
Communication Studies from Abia State University (ABSU) says becoming an OAP
was a question of right timing for her. She had been on a local television
station for a while and was fascinated by radio, so she felt it had a lot of
mystery because an individual could express himself/herself in any way they
wanted because people will not see them in air. So when she heard from a friend
that there was an opportunity, she went for the audition and her presentation
was good and that was how she got the opportunity to become an OAP, which has
been amazing ever since.
Ifeoma, is the presenter of Rhythm and Soul and Ladies First on Rhythm 93.7 FM, Port Harcourt. Some of the shows
she had hosted; The Afternoon Drive, The Dance Party, Gospel vibes and
The Morning Drive.
Talking about the entertainment industry, Ifeoma loves to
listen to the music of Tuface, Banky W, Burna Boy, Dantonio, a gospel Reggae
artist, Patoranking among others because of their uniqueness and creativity. In
Nollywood, she likes Genevieve because of her skills and ability to interprete
roles.
Ifeoma is the host of Miss Niger Delta beauty pageant show
for three years and organiser of the show is Prince Sodin. She has also hosted
other fashion shows, parties, weddings etc which has shown that she loves what
she is doing.
“ Passion is the most important thing it takes to be an OAP
because you need to love what you are doing. Sometimes, you have to wake up as
early as four am and go to work if you are on the morning shift. You have to be
intuitive, witty, smart, lively, and be able to speak clearly and concisely, if
an individual aspires to become as OAP” she said.
Ild love to be an OAP one day, good work!
