This statement was made known by the CEO of SQN, Mr. Wale Kuku, last week in Lagos. He said: “His contract will expire on December 4, 2014. We will like to settle this misunderstanding amicably or else will let the law take its course. Chukky K was signed onto SQN Records in the fourth quarter of 2011 and over the years, we have put in a lot of resources, time, money and efforts to make him one of the top brands in the entertainment industry and we are very proud of his success.
Three weeks ago, Corolla Agency paid us in full for Chuddy K to perform at a show but he allegedly failed to show up, hence, we had to call other artistes to perform there and return their money to the agency. We are a responsible company and a strong brand known for creativity and integrity.”
