The forum took place at the Asa Pyramid Hotel and it witnessed a large turnout of MTN subscribers who were inspired, mentored and empowered by the success stories of accomplished entrepreneurs and mentors.
Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, Chairman, Finance Committee, House of Representatives and a former state coordinator, NAPEP, Alhaji Musa Zubairu, were guest speakers. They said that for one to succeed in life and business, vision, passion and dedication must be the watch-words.
Hon Jibrin said, “in starting a business, there is the need to create a vision on what you intend to do; be it long- term or short-term, because for any business to thrive, you must picture what you really want.”
According to him, passion and a good knowledge of business is key to the success of the individual and the enterprise.
Furthermore, he reiterated the importance of networking, “I came into politics with the help of the contacts I had made, over time. Networking is key to success in business. You need people, just like they need you,” he said.
On his part, Zubairu said: “The key to success in life is having a vision and nurturing that vision. Zubairu noted that another key to success is contentment, as well as having passion for what one intends to do.
