We are not behind Buhari Video – Ultima Studios

(WWTBAM), has dissociated itself from aninciting video that mimmicks the program’s set up and the voice of the show’s presenter, for the purpose of ridiculing Gen Mohammadu Buhari, one of the presidential candidates in the upcoming elections and depicting him in bad light....more

The controversial video, which has gone viral on social media, is mockingly titled Who Wants To Be A President? But the producers of WWTBAM have described it as the handiwork of mischief-makers.
Mr. Olumide Akinlabi, spokesperson of Ultima Limited, said though the company has no affiliation or support for any political party or candidate, it is absolutely unacceptable for mischief-makers to deploy such antic.   
We, the producers and sponsors of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ (WWTBAM?), hereby disclaim and distance ourselves from this inciting, defamatory and mischievous video titled ‘Who Wants To Be A President?’ which unfortunately has drawn a lot of attention.
For the avoidance of doubt, we further state and aver that we have nothing whatsoever to do with the creation, production, recording, upload, broadcast and transmission of the video. The video does not in any way represent the views of the Producers, Sponsors and Affiliates of the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Show,” Akinlabi stated.
