This brings to 68 the number of people that have lost their lives in the clashes that started four days ago. The Divisional Crime Officer, name unknown as at press time, was also reported missing. He was said to be on duty when the militiamen attacked Magama in Langtang South,
This came as residents of Fajul in Langtang South fled after the invasion of the area by some suspected Fulani herdsmen.
But the member representing Langtang South/Langtang North in the House of Representatives, Ms. Beni Lar, has said that over 70 people have been killed in the clashes in Magama, Bolgang and Karkashi area of Langtang South while no fewer than 7000 people have been displaced.
