AGN suspends Aganbi, plans award

The story was all over town last week over the suspension of the former Public Relations Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Frank Dallas, which the president of the guild, Ibinabo Fiberesima, has officially announced. Read more
She said this while giving the progress report of the guild during the week.
Fiberesima said: “The National Executive Council of the guild has suspended Don Pedro Aganbi and his executives and a panel of enquiry had been set up to investigate some executives for their activities.
She also introduced members of the committee of the Screen Actors Awards headed by Foluke Daramola. The award would be accompanied by gifts set aside for a proposed trust fund for veterans in the industry.
In addition, Fibersima, said  that the guild will celebrate Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde as one of the 100 influential persons in the world.
She also presented to the Lagos State Chairman, Victor Osuagwu, a cheque of N500,000 for  the state chapter’s members revalidation dues.
