The plaintiff, who is suing on behalf of the family, wants the court to rule that the failure of the airline  to pay the outstanding compensation is a breach of the family’s fundamental rights.
Hannah also argues in the suit, tagged FHC/L/CS/1269/1213, that Dana’s action was a breach of his father’s fundamental rights to life as well as that of other passengers, whose journey from Abuja to Lagos ended in tragedy.
The plane crashed in Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos State on June 3, 2012 killing all the 153 persons on board and about 10 other persons on the ground.
