We electrify shows through music –QBand

Qband, a 12-man band is expected to perform during the final burial rites of literary icon, Prof. Chinua Achebe, in Anambra State this week.
Innocent Aniedi-Jackson, a talented musician and band leader said: “It is a big honour to be chosen to perform at such an epoch-making occasion because the band is not strange to high-octane event such as this.

QBand is expected to light up the town of Ogidi, Anambra State, which will host an historic occasion to be witnessed by eminent personalities from the world of literature, politics and the society at large.
What stands the band out, according to Aniedi-Jackson, is its ‘versatile’ top-notch live band that parades a blend of local percussions and contemporary music. The band which has a growing fan base on Facebook boasts, “We electrify every event with our versatility in songs/music selection that keeps both the young and old ignited. Our range of songs/music span from the Old skool, the Evergreens (local/foreign), R&B, Calypso, Highlife, Reggae, Juju and contemporay Nigerian hit songs.”
Some of the recent high-profile events where the band has performed include; Vice President Namadi Sambo’s daughters’ pre-wedding dinner held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja the annual NNPC/Shell cup finals and Fidelity Bank’s bi-annual thanksgiving dinner.
