Premiere Music partners Spinlet for music distribution format

Record label, Premier Music, is collaborating with Spinlet to change the process of music distribution in the country.
Mike Odiong, Special Projects Manager, Premier Music Limited, said the new format will help to reduce piracy in the country and a new arrangement in music distribution.
The collaboration is in progress and the works of Dr. Victor Olaiya, which featured Tu Face Idibia in the remix of Mofe Muyan, that was released in the ’70s, is now called Baby Mi Da. The video was directed by Nollywood actor, director and producer, Kunle Afolayan.
Odiong said: “We want to use this medium to inform listeners that for 50 years that we have been in existence, we are still in the business of providing good music. Lovers of music such as highlife, pop, sakara, apala, traditional, choral, reggae etc could be received with just a click on Spinlet.
He urged artistes to explore into their rich repertoire of remixes, cover versions  that is available to them. We also call on Nollywood to enter into synchronization deals with us so that great songs can be used as sound tracks on Nollywood movies as is done in other climes.”
Mark Redguard, Chief Marketing Director, Spinlet Africa, also explained how the collaboration is working. He also demonstrated the various functions of Spinlet.
