G-loaded, an entertainment group recently thrilled guests with their
acrobatic dance during the launch of Dayspring Pouvoir at Ikorodu. More
Founder of Dayspring Pouvior, Mrs Abimbola Okoro said: “ The foundation is set the host the maiden
edition of Dayspring Summer camp for youths between the ages of 11 -21 with the
theme Love, Leadership, and Liberty.
The two-week programme will be filled with fun and learning
as it will empower young people with the skill-set and mind-set to excel in
every facet of life, now and forever. It will invest, inspire young people to
be positive change agents in the society.
Activities lined up for the summer camp include jewellery
designing, T-shirt logo creation, catering, events management, hat making,
literacy club, numeracy club, sports, martial arts/aerobics, music, dance and
choreography.
Deputy Director, Banking and Operations, Central Bank of
Nigeria, Caleb Nwankanma said “ we all need one form of mentoring from older
people to younger people and the nature of mentoring is to provide guidiance
for younger people who share ideas with them. People should try to make the
younger ones more responsible and responsive in whatever they do and our expectations
will be achieved if young people are well mentored”.
