Rivers Assembly crises: A miscalculation by anti Amaechi forces, says lawmaker

Ali said this in Kaduna that the action of the five lawmakers portrayed a desperation to thwart the democratic process.

“It is a miscalculation on their part. You cannot impeach the speaker, who has 27 members supporting him,” he said adding that it was also a reflection of the “deep crises within the PDP”.

According to him, the crises may mark the demise of the party which has failed to manage the situation properly.
